"Package Load Failure" no Vista 64.

Mar 30, 2009 at 5:57 PM

Grato

I was able to find windows.prf in my Vista 64-bit box under the same location:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0

Please note that you'll need to paste the address in Explorer's address bar directly, since navigating through the folders may not show you use "Application Data" folder.

Ok, no meu XP é assim mesmo.
C:\Documents and Settings\Rafael\Dados de aplicativos\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\windows.prf
E o Visual Studio gera estye arquivo novamente.

No Vista 64, apareceram trocentos arquivos windows.prf,

Erro:
Error 1 A namespace does not directly contain members such as fields or methods E:\Projeto\XNA\Projeto\ArcadExGame4\ArcadExGame4\DefaultInputMapping.cs 1 1 ArcadExGame4
Error 2 A namespace does not directly contain members such as fields or methods E:\Projeto\XNA\Projeto\ArcadExGame4\ArcadExGame4\DefaultInputMapping.cs 1 1 ArcadExGame4

Detalhe: Ainda não reiniciei a máquina :| ... Se for isso , me mata depois :D

If you see xml instead of the diagram, then the language package was not loaded and very likely you won't be able to do anything at all.

Try deleting all of the windows.prf files (you can always restore them later if you use the Recycle Bin) and check how it goes. Someone suggested that repairing the installation would help, although I'm not really sure about that (I'm still investigating this error through the VS Extensibility forum).
